Student safety is a core part of VOUSED.
No Student Accounts
Students do not create accounts and do not access the platform directly.
No Direct Communication
Students do not exchange emails, messages or personal contact details with students in partner schools. All exchanges take place through teacher-managed classroom materials.
Teacher Oversight
Teachers remain responsible for reviewing and approving any materials shared as part of the programme. Teachers and schools are responsible for ensuring that any materials shared comply with their own safeguarding, privacy and parental consent requirements.
Personal Information
Students cannot include:
– Personal email addresses
– Phone numbers
– Home addresses
– Social media accounts
Only first names or teacher-approved identifiers should be used.
Secure Sharing
Classroom materials are shared only with participating partner schools for educational purposes.
